IMAC France just finished their 2nd contest this year.

Here are a few words from Alain Detry, IMAC France coordinator.

IMAC Lectoure Scale Model Aerobatic Cup 2019
On this Ascension weekend, the IMAC France team managed by Alain DETRY with the
support of Mathieu GLORY, received us at the Camping du Lac des 3 Vallées in
Lectoure (47) for the annual IMAC event. INTERNATIONAL counting for the
qualification in Team of France for the championships of Europe in 2020 in Italy.
Thursday: many pilots, coming from all horizons (Switzerland, Spain, Uruguay, India,
Brittany, France ....) Are already present on the track opened to the trainings.
Friday: serious things begin; first day of competition for the 31 pilots present. The day
will be devoted to a known program flight and an unknown program flight for all
At the end of the first day, the scores are tight between all drivers and at all levels.
Saturday morning: after a relaxing Friday evening, the site allowing to spend good
moments within its infrastructures (swimming pool, lake, children's games, ...) =
everyone takes again the way of the track. Another day devoted to flights with known
and unknown programs under a crushing heat and a beautiful sun.
Saturday evening: the gala dinner allows a new moment of relaxation and a moment of
communion with all the actors IMAC present, a good traditional meal served in the
restaurant of the Camping and anniversaries to celebrate, the opportunity for the Team
of France presents to the USA to meet again; great atmosphere for a successful
evening, Sunday morning may be hard!
Sunday: the day will be devoted to a flight of known and a Freestyle flight, always under
a beautiful sun.
The Freestyle holds all its promises: 13 pilots participate and the show is assured.
Come the time of the award ceremony and the raffle where many prizes offered by the
partners are to be won Desert Aircraft, Fibrojet, Jon Cladito, Aéromécanic's, ....

We must also note the rigorous teaming by the track manager, Serge Ortal.
We must emphasize the invaluable help of the volunteers of Lectoure during this
weekend end of 3 days and thank them warmly.
