“Big Bob” Memorial IMAC 2021

 Requirements:  Current AMA or MAAC membership, IMAC membership strongly encouraged via IMAC website.  Covid precautions and procedures will be adhered to and followed.  Hand sanitizing stations will be provided. 

The airfield will be open and available for practice starting Thursday, 3 June, 2021.  Camping is allowed and encouraged starting that same Thursday. We do not have electricity or water at the field. 

Pilot contest entry fees: $40.00 for currently registered IMAC members, and $60.00 for NON-IMAC members.  First time BASIC or NOVICE pilots will fly for free.  Awards for top three places in each class (Basic - Unlimited)

** Novice Class will be offered for this contest (Saturday ONLY)**

The novice class is designed for pilots who would like to try IMAC in a stress free, non-competitive environment.  Novice class will fly on Saturday only.  Aircraft for this class do not need to be scale aerobatic aircraft.  Pilots in this class will fly the 2021 Basic sequence along with the Basic class and will be judged and scored by IMAC certified judges.  Novice pilots will receive tips, techniques and advice/feedback after their class is complete.  This is a fantastic way to be involved in what precision aerobatics is all about, without the stress of competition within the contest.

Depending on Covid restriction, Food (Subway sandwiches) may be available for $5 each on Saturday & Sunday.  

 Daily Schedule:

SAT:  0900 pilots’ meeting, wheels up @ ~0930.

Weather permitting, there will be two rounds of knowns (Novice/Basic - Unlimited).

SUN:  0900 pilots’ meeting, wheels up @ ~0930.

Weather permitting, there will be one flight of Unknown (Basic - Unlimited) followed by one round of knowns.

 

Alternate sequences will be flown on a 600x60’ paved runway

Overnight camping/RV's are allowed at the field. Dry camping only. No electricity.

Lunch available on Saturday and Sunday for $5 each, pending on Covid restrictions.
