Weaver's Field Challenge

COVID plan for Othello IMAC 2020: 

 

Social distancing, masks, and hand sanitizing will be necessary during this event.  We want everyone to be safe and well during and after the contest.

There will be touchless hand sanitizing bottles set around for your use, we will also have masks and gloves if you forgot to bring yours or just need an extra.  

Please keep your masks on, covering your nose and mouth, unless eating or if you are able to maintain a minimum of 6 feet apart from others.  We understand that some may have a medical reason not to wear one, if that is the case then please keep your distance from others. 

The ‘kitchen’ will be a one person show this year so please be patient.  I will be wearing a mask and gloves during meal preparation and service.  We are serving only 2 meals this year in order to limit contact, hopefully we will be back to normal by next year.

Meals will be served in take-out boxes.  Your meal and drink will be placed on a pick-up table by my helper, Alex, who will also be wearing a mask and gloves.  After everyone has been through the line once, you may go through again if there are any left-overs. 

Prior to picking up your meal, we ask that you sanitize your hands and have your mask on. If you haven’t donated your money for the meal during the morning pilot’s meeting, you may donate prior to pick-up.  We’ll have a donation container there.  We’re asking for a $10 donation per meal, or whatever you can give.  

After picking up your meal, we ask that you sit a minimum of 6 feet apart.  We will not be setting out the picnic tables with benches this year.  Again…. hopefully next year. 



Saturday Dinner/5:30pm (approx.)

Tacos: chicken, ground beef, pork 

Corn or flour tortillas (warmed or fried)

Toppings: sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, 

lettuce, hot sauce, shredded cheese

Tex-Mex Cowboy beans 

Mexican style rice

Street corn salad

Watermelon

Texas sheet cake: Almond, yellow w/choc icing, lemon.

Drink:  Soda, Gatorade, water.

(to start: 4 tacos, then seconds after everyone’s eaten for free)

Sunday Lunch/12pm (approx.)

Dogs: reg hotdogs, brats, hot-links

Hamburgers

Toppings: lettuce/tomatoes/onion/relish/

Sauerkraut/pickles/mustard/ketchup

Pulled pork sandwiches (BBQ sauces/slaw)

Macaroni salad

Chips

Strawberry shortcake

Drinks: Soda, Gatorade, water

(to start: You may have 2 burgers, dogs or sandwiches, then seconds after everyone’s eaten for free)
