West Coast Aerobatic Challenge - 2018

Overall, there were 26 pilots flying in the West Coast Aerobatic Challenge - 2018 contest. In no particular order they were: Ben Mackles, Brad Knight, Brian Lewis, Chuck Taylor, Dale Olstinski, Dan Nolan, Danny Diaz, Dave Miller, Don Brown, Garrett Morrison, Gary Lubbers, George Silva, Jeffrrey Diaz, Jerry Unruh, Joe De Renzi, Josh O'Connell, Lucas Stone, Mark Huntley, Matthew Morell, Mervin Ory, Mike Stoner, Nate Holderbein, Neil Gates, Rob Sarlan, Santiago Robillos and Scott Nathan. These pilots flew a grand total of 364 judged sequences. 

Jerry Unruh won the Basic class. There were 6 pilots in Basic. The winning order was: (1) Jerry Unruh, (2) Dan Nolan, (3) Dave Miller, (4) Lucas Stone, (5) Scott Nathan and (6) Brian Lewis. They flew 6 known sequences (3 rounds) and 1 unknown round. The scores ranged from a low of 1,257.6 to a high of 4,960.3 (a range of 3,702.7 points). 

Chuck Taylor won the Sportsman class. There were 10 pilots in Sportsman. The tightest competition was for 3rd place in the Intermediate class, with only 5.938 points difference between Don Brown and Dale Olstinski.
