Lost Squadron 2018

Overall, there were 20 pilots flying in the Lost Squadron 2018 contest. In no particular order they were: Allen Delger, Cam Shahrdar, Dan Powell, Darin Schmidt, Ed Kranz, Greg Dial, Guy ALON, Hank Cooper, James Barfield, Jason Watts, Kevin Schmidt, Larry Kayich, Lyndel Roe, Mark Thurman, Mike Cooper, Phillip Knight, Rich Whitlow, Ron Schroeder, Shane Snyder and Tim Hughes. These pilots flew a grand total of 280 judged sequences. 

Tim Hughes won the Basic class. There were 5 pilots in Basic. The winning order was: (1) Tim Hughes, (2) Jason Watts, (3) James Barfield, (4) Ron Schroeder and (5) Larry Kayich. They flew 6 known sequences (3 rounds) and 1 unknown round. The scores ranged from a low of 3,945.6 to a high of 5,000 (a range of 1,054.4 points). 

Mike Cooper won the Sportsman class. There were 6 pilots in Sportsman. The winning order was: (1) Mike Cooper, (2) Guy ALON, (3) Kevin Schmidt, (4) Darin Schmidt, (5) Allen Delger and (6) Ed Kranz. Dan Powell won the Intermediate class. There were 4 pilots in Intermediate. The winning order was: (1) Dan Powell, (2) Phillip Knight, (3) Mark Thurman and (4) Rich Whitlow. The tightest competition was for 4th place in the Sportsman class, with only 33.352 points difference between Darin Schmidt and Allen Delger.
