Financial Update: Phil reported that in the checking account (January 31, 2010) IMAC has $1842.67 and in the PayPal account the amount is $20,584.38. The total amount in IMAC’s accounts is $22,427.05

For February 10th 2010 (meeting date) IMAC has $2173.67 in checking, PayPal account has $21,236.10 and a total of $23,409.77.

It was reported that Hobbico has not received a bill for their IMAC website’s advertising and Phil will have that done. Don mentioned that he will pursue advertisers at the Toledo show.

Other Business: (TOLEDO) IMAC will have Don Hamilton, Rick Byrd, Wayne Matthews, & Tom Wheeler representing the organization at the trade show. Phil Vance could not confirm attendance. Phil needed to know about the required printed literature and room set-up.

(NATS) Discussion centered around expenses for judges at previous NATS. Phil pointed out the judges shared rooms and the past 3 years averaged between $250.00-$300.00 for each judge for transportation and parking. IMAC paid the hotel room of $55.00 plus tax at the Lee’s Inn for 4 nights. All supplies (printing etc.) needed for the NATS were obtained by Phil. He also arranged the banquet room & meal prices ranged from $19.99-$25.95 per plate. Expenditure by IMAC for the last NATS was approx $5000-$6000 after AMA reimbursed IMAC. Questions were asked of the possibility to include the banquet charge in the AMA fee for the NATS. Don stated that he was not satisfied with the judging pool.

The preference is for paid judges at the NATS. Tim has already started looking in the SW region for judges to attend and Eddie stated that he will promote the search in his SC region. Various methods to offset judges expenses will be discussed. Phil is to have more details of expenditure for the NATS at the meeting on Wednesday, Feb, 17th 2010 when the BOD will meet with Kent Porter.

Next Meeting: A BOD conference call is scheduled for Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 9:00PM EST with Kent Porter to discuss details on the 2010 NATS.

Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 11:10 PM
