Granite State IMAC Intro Primer is on. After a couple years of discussions Concord Skyhawks have agreed to a one day Intro. This is a former home of the Granite State IMAC and it was lost due to noise issues. We intend to give the members a look at current IMAC aircraft, hear them and fly some sequences to show the footprint. Thanks to the generous and giving pilots in the Northeast we have several instructors to offer a nice intro and education on precision flying, practice with a purpose and judging. We hope that this will be a foot in the door for possibly resurrecting a Granite State IMAC event. More details here: http://Granite STATE IMAC INtro Primer
Thanks, Daren

From what I can tell from their Facebook page, they've got a bunch of space and no shortage of giant scale stuff. It looks like a fine location for an IMAC event. I can't say that I'd make that trip for the primer next month, but I'd definitely show for a weekend if they decide to bring a full event back. Good luck with the primer, Daren.

Thanks Steve. It's more about politics and skepticism than space. I have attended a meeting with Cody and Ted Wojcik and we listened to the concerns about an event. The intro primer was a compromise from that meeting. We intend to educate and have an open discussion about their concerns so that no club members feel threatened in any way, that's the last thing we want. It should be a nice day of precision flying and who knows, maybe next year we'll be listing a Granite State IMAC? One maneuver at a time! Heck, we're nice guys right?BigGrin

Good luck Daren and thanks for the effort. That was a great field for an IMAC event and I hope you can get it back.
It would be especially great to hear that we actually got a field back instead of losing one.
