I just received my card after renewing membership. Very nice! Thank you!

Like Keith mentioned, the glue on the back is super sticky! A minor issue for sure, but perhaps an easy fix?

Also, I'm a bit curious why the use of "CBO" instead of "AMA" where my AMA number is printed on the card. I know the term "community based organization" figures prominently in the FAA re-authorization bill, and that is what the AMA is, but CBO is a broad term with AMA just one subset of that group. Following the same logic, the IMAC number on the card should be prefaced with the label "SIG."

Some clarification would be helpful. Thanks!

I'm just assuming here, but I'm thinking they put CBO so that the card would be usable for countries outside the USA that have different governing bodies than AMA.

Thanks, Matt. Hence the "I" in IMAC?

BTW, and speaking of AMA, that's a cool pic of you in the latest issue of the AMA magazine. I thought the editor should have included a caption with your name, though.... Still, a good show for IMAC!

Yeah, I had a good laugh at it myself. I had no clue it would be used. They should have advertised the issue included a "Fat Head" with every copy, haha.

Just get some practice before you show up at a public airfield. People will want to see you demonstrate a perfect four point roll!

Hopefully I won't be sweating that as I move up to advanced this year. Need to perfect the 8 point roll, 270 roller and 1/4-3/4 snaps. Should be a lot of fun, not gonna take it to serious as I get my feet wet.

Ha! I picked the photo out, Matt ... you can blame me. Flapper I believe the only reason your name wasn't put on is because it was just supposed to be an illustration of how a four-point roll might look with a stick plane; the photo of you was the best one we had. Do you know how hard it is to find a photo of a vertical stick plane? Laugh

Got mine yesterday, very nice! Thank you.
To echo a couple of previous posts, the glue was a bit tough to remove.
