Guys thanks for all the help this weekend! Best Toledo I’ve seen in a while. I really enjoyed judging the etoc event as well. And the best part we drew in quite a few people to enroll into our imac family. It was great!!

I can't thank all you guys enough for putting in the time and effort that made this show such a huge success! We were able to prove that there is still plenty of interest in our sport, we just need to continue reaching out to find those people.

Rob Willis, a newer marketing committee member, spearheaded the work at the booth and deserves a ton of credit for taking on such a large task, especially with so little time to prepare. I've asked Rob to write up a report with the details of the event as well as some highlights that can be used on future promotional endeavors, but for now, know that because of everyones hard work, IMACs membership has grown in the double digits. I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of new and returning faces this year!

Toledo Show. by Aaron Schrader

It had previously been decided that IMAC would no longer participate in the Toledo show due to the lack of interest. Whenever
this was heard by North Central and membership chairman Matt Komar he stepped into action asking IMAC to once again have a booth at the show. The necessary steps were taken and volunteers were ready to help however they could to make it a success. In less than 60 days everything was in place to exhibit at the show. The word success is an understatement as to what happened. The volunteers hit a home run for the North Central Region. The exhibit had a monitor running with pictures of IMAC events, IMAC hats, decals, stickers, stick planes, and judging sticks being sold. IMAC membership was also offered. Yes the volunteers increased the membership in the NC 20%, plus the interest in the new Novice class is unbelievable.
On Saturday a 1 hr. symposium was presented by volunteers on “Everything you need to know about IMAC” with another good turnout. The ball was knocked out of the park, it is now time to keep the ball rolling. A HUGE THANK YOU to all the volunteers who helped make this a gigantic success and being a part of hitting the home run.

Big thanks to Rob and the gang for taking the time to run the booth at the show this past weekend! I can express how disappointed I was when I had heard that we were no longer going to put forth the effort for this any longer. Hopefully the results that the guys had with the show this year will be the proof we need to continue this effort moving forward!

AWESOME! Thank you to all involved for picking up the ball and running.
Let’s emulate this at other large events and gatherings whenever possible. The results are not always determined by the costs and revenues. Keep planting seeds.

Thanks again.

Could this be done at Joe Nall? I think there could be a lot of potential there. Let’s keep this ball rolling!

I have suggested in the past that IMAC should have some type of presence there.
