The Abilene R/C Society Presents:

Wings Over Abilene IMAC Challenge - 2019

Event Date: August 24th – 25th



Pilot Entry Fee: $35.00 IMAC $55.00 NON IMAC

Includes: Saturday light breakfast and BBQ lunch, Sunday morning light breakfast and 1 raffle ticket.

Class Competition Divisions:

Novice - Basic – Sportsman – Intermediate – Advance – Unlimited

Awards given to 1st – 3rd place finishers

There will also be offered a "Novice Class" for Saturday Only. Entry Fee for Novice is $15.00.

What is Novice Class?

• Open field for practice on Friday, August 17th

• Pilot registration on Saturday at 7:30-8:30 am

• Pilot meeting at 8:30 am

• Competition begins at 9:00 am both days

• Hampton Inn & Suites: Reference “ Wings Over Abilene ” for

special rate. 3526 West Lake Road.

• Campers/Camping Welcome (no hookups available)

• Raffle Sunday lunch (must be present to win)

As Per Rule 4.3 There shall be no airborne devices fitted to the aircraft which place the aircraft under less than total control by the pilot. These devices will include, but are not limited to, gyros, automatic pilots, electronic stabilization, and timing devices. Non-airborne aids such as transmitter based functions are permissible.
Pilots found to be using prohibited devices will be disqualified from the contest.

I had a great time. Thanks to Craig and the Abilene RC society. It was also great to have flown with Team Mexico again. South Central has made new friends.
