Don't hold your breath while waiting, it's going to be a while still before the Int - Unl are finalized and posted.

Unlimited Known and Unlimited Known ALT now posted!

Unlimited Known 2020

Unlimited Known ALT 2020

This completes the release of the 2020 Knowns Pilots! Stick Planes, Simulators and those of you in the agreeable climates can get to practicing for next season!

I want to thank the members of the Sequence Committee and please that you do the same. This small group of people put a huge amount of work and hours in to provide these every year. They start for the following year in June or July and write, check, test and tweak and fly until ready for you. They deserve all the credit on this monumental task taken on for our sport!

Doug,

The sequences look great, looking forward to flying the Advanced sequence once the frozen tundra of Ohio warms up! Which brings me to my next point. On the sequence change years, would it be possible to get the new sequences posted before September/October time frame? This would allow us poor souls that are not fortunate enough to have year around flying weather to get some practice in before the season ends. For us in the NC, most are not able to get meaningful practice in until sometimes April. Could we make this a possibility moving forward?

Totally get your point and fair question!

So here is short answer.

The reality is with, as I said "This small group people" that are currently on, and active within Sequence Committee. They have to juggle this work, with real life paying work, families and their own flying seasons in summer and fall. We have been trying to populate this committee for some time. And just recently I am happy to say added 3 members in last month or so. But realize also, that these or any new individuals now need to learn the process in place to write and check and ready for release. Also of course same group of people providing Unknowns close to 50 weekends a year Internationally. So, my hope is that we continue to get motivated people to jump in and "Stay In" for a period of time to progress past the learning curve to become productive. The more we can get in Sequence, the workload would then decrease individually and I believe not only would the Unknowns work be greatly reduced as being spread more evenly, but we might be able to then have the following years Knowns being started much earlier in the year to your point of having them available to conducive weather earlier.

Ok, sorta short answer. But you all know me.

Doug,

Maybe we could look into changing the sequence cycle to every two years, this would certainly help reduce the load..

What are the requirements for this committee? And what does it involve?
