OK I know lots of people like TrueTurn spinners but they do not make an "Extra" shape spinner. So what are you guys, who have Extras, putting on your planes?

Alternative brands, shapess?

I am looking for a 5inch 3-blade spinner to put on a Carden 40% Extra 330. Carbon or AL does not matter to me.

The "Yakov" one!
When you've got a YAK you have the Edge
and you don't need anything Extra!

On an EXTRA!

They look OK on an Edge but to me they just don't suite an Extra.

What about the 5" Mezj Carbon spinners from DA? It's hard to tell from the website but they look close in shape.

Anyone tried a Pete Model CF spinner? Like Mezj they use 6 - 8 bolts around the bottom of spinner. This males it hard doing a three blade and then youhave to get your prop drille 120% right every time or.......

True Turn makes a style called a "P-51 style" this the style we are running on Extras. It's not as pointy as the Ultimate style.

Hope this helps,

Hi Dan,

Yeah I am runnng a 4" TT P-51 spinner on my 32% Carden Baby Yak and it looks great.

On the 330 I am lookig at doing a scale scheme and the full-scale a/c uses an "Extra" shape spinner. So far the only "Extra" shape spinners I can find are by Air Wild (AL) or Pete Model (Carbon).

TroyBuilt cary some nice CF spinners that use a centre bolt just like TT but again the shape is off. I use to fly scale before doing IMAC so it's hard to drop old habbits.
