Regional Reports

NE – Schedule is set for 2024. First contest coming up in May. Canada is still unable to fly contests. May be able to add a contest in Delaware.

SE – 3 contests so far this year. CD modified sequences worked well in the contest they were utilized. In person judging school coming soon.

NC – We are done with the schedule. Should be posting it in a couple of weeks just to make sure not last minute submissions are missed.

NW – In person judging school was held this past weekend and our first contest is coming up in 3 weeks. Schedule is set for 2024.

EU – No Report

SC –We had our first contest for 2024.  The Jetero contest was great.  Saturday it was very windy and unseasonably cold, however everyone flew, flew well and enjoyed it.  Sunday the weather was completely the opposite, just cool and very light winds.  We had an excellent turnout with several new pilots interested in IMAC.  Six pilots fly freestyle.  Which is a huge increase.

For the Extreme Flight drawing we are awarding one ticket to each pilot who competes at a regional contest.  The winner of each contest receives one additional ticket.  Each pilot must be part of SC and must be in good standing for the contest and at the IRPS to be eligible to win.

SW- 2 contests so far this year pilot count is up so far for both contests. Tucson is next weekend, and Hemet comes up in April.

AP – EIMAC rules have been announced for this discipline. These will be one day contests in most cases.

LA – Things are going well with contests happening, things are looking better this year.
